About Department
Over the years, the Department of Marathi had several luminaries, as professors and students, who have made their mark not only in the literary field but in the Society also. Many of its former students have been leading lights in the various fields like Politics, Literature, Industry, Education and others. Our objective is to promote studies and research in Marathi language and Literature. The Department has its own library with approximately 1000 books. We at Shree Ram College always try to promote literary skills of the students.
Every year guest lectures and lecture series are organized for the exposure for the students. Eminent speakers Marathi literature are invited for these lectures.
